I am traveling via company jet next week and I'm scared out of my mind....my mind is depicting some scary scenarios. For posters who have traveled by means of private aircraft (e.g. corporate flight), how does the experience differ from commercial flight?

Has anyone flown on a private jet?

Fine, I didn't want to get on it either but I had no choice. I was only an hour in the air, flew from Amsterdam to Brussels. Smooth flight.
In my experience any flight experience really depends on the weather and how much turbulence there is. I despise turbulence.
How far are you travelling? what coast?Last edited by Weebler I; 09-18-2014, 10:01 PM.

I went to rent one with my Boxingscene points at a private jet dealer here in NYC, they said they don't accept my type of currency. I told them I am worth 23.9 trillion points, i'm richer than Bill Gates, Carlos Slim and Warren Buffet, they laughed at me and told me to GTFO of here with my ****** points. I told them I know Rick Reeno and they will be hearing from him soon. We'll see who gets the last laugh.

I'm flying from Thermal airport (about 30 miles south of Palm Springs, CA) to Valencia California. It won't be a long flight since it's only about 175 miles in distance.
Any tips to overcome anxiety the day of or even the night before?

There will be a bunch of air-strips between the two destinations if they're needed (which they won't be).
As to anxiety, the no.1 thing is not to think about it. Get on with other stuff, put it to the back of your mind and it'll be over before you know it.Last edited by Weebler I; 09-18-2014, 10:31 PM.

I don't enjoy flying, would never let it stop me traveling though.
Short flights can potentially be worse as generally it's smoother the higher you go and with a short flight you won't go very high. Sitting towards the front helps as planes are dynamic from their nose.
I take travel sickness tablets about 2 hrs before and also antihistamine as I find that helps with ear and sinus pain from pressure. Which in turn keeps me calmer.
