Has anyone flown on a private jet?

It's a short flight...thankfully!

I'm flying from Thermal airport (about 30 miles south of Palm Springs, CA) to Valencia California. It won't be a long flight since it's only about 175 miles in distance.

Any tips to overcome anxiety the day of or even the night before?

I have severe flight anxiety. I haven't even ridden as a passenger in a car/truck in....I don't even know how long. I wouldn't fly at all until just a few years ago.

I plan my flights for midday, so I can drink before I get on the plane. I also go see my doctor. He calls me in a script of valium. I take one before the flight (mixes nicely with the booze), and 1 during the flight (I've only flown to Vegas a few times. Probably wouldn't need as much for a shorter flight).

I've flown on one of these on a connection flight, I was inside that blender for an hour and it felt like forever on a windy day, horrible

I'm assuming you're on the East coast though? in my experience the weather there is a lot more variable than on the West coast. OP will have no probs.
