They pretty much have to open it. It would be a real kick in the teeth if after they did, cases spiked up and they had to close it again.

Open it up by phases, monitor and adjust if necessary.

I honestly don’t feel there is a right or wrong answer here.

        It’s just a choice.
        A fork in the road.
        They’re both fooked up results.

I'm all for opening up the country/economy but we just don't have the necessary mass testing to do so. If testing was cheap and readily available to the public I could see us successfully opening up in a phases. That doesn't seem likely so we're guaranteed a boomerang effect where cases spike up and we all go back into lock down.

Ideally yes, but we just don't have the capacity or means to test everyone right now. That, and we have people who oppose wearing masks and contact tracing. SMH

I am for keeping it closed. Lets see if this virus reacts to summer the same way the flu and cold react to summer.

Crazy that some people want the economy opened but don't want to do their part to keep themselves and others safe until we know for sure how to combat this thing.

Unless we're all going to stay in hiding until a vaccines been discovered, and everyone in your country's had it, we're going to have to re-open sooner or later and just take the chance, and if that's the way it's going to be (which is has to, the former could take years) we should get on with it asap before the worldwide economy goes down further than has ever been experienced before.

The same people that want the lockdown to end citing "constitutional rights" are the same 1s that bashed "anti-vaxxers" lol! Go figure! Normal group of hypocrites though.

I also remember during the government shutdown those same people were praising Trump for not paying "non essential federal employees." Lol, look whos nonessential now? Feds out there putting in work so you can get your welfare...

Oh and lets not forget the pro corporation/anti government crowd. Funny how Corporations laid off their employees (real quick) and sent them to the welfare line. And lets see how many will file bankruptcy after receiving their peice of the pie?

But with that said, Im up to opening the economy up, the weather is beautiful here in SoCal & Id love to hit a lake and I do miss the gym.
