Summer won’t do much difference. U gotta think places like Africa, Australia, and Florida are hot during December thru March and they were hit by the Corona Virus so that fact ends that theory there.

That doesnt end the theory by any means.

Yes, its warmer in those areas during winter/spring than many other areas, but once summer hits then the temps go up higher.

We have to see how the virus reacts to the hotter summer weather before ending any theory on how hot temps effects the virus.

Yeah i don't get it.. Some jobs/business (especially smaller ones) have disappeared for potentially ever.. millions unemployed and running out of funds..

What happens when they can't pay rent?

        Can't buy food anymore?

Riots/looting and worse.. Protests are just the start. Keep the country in lock down for a few months.. see what happens corona virus will pale in comparison

Thanks for the thoughts, but do you have an idea how folks who aren't working can survive? How can they buy food, pay bills, etc

Human to human as well as human to surface contact will still spread the virus. It's just that it will last a lot less in the outside air and surfaces due to heat and sunlight.

            It doesn't end any theory.

Okay that’s a whole different thing. People are taking about the summer time “killing?the virus.

You’re saying it will reduce its frequency or consistency.

But even if that’s true, people that are gathering more and more during the summer will just offset the difference by more groups socializing.
So really the theory is majorly flawed either way.

Chances are that by then many people could already have caught it.

Also, viruses, like all living things, want to spread and reproduce as much as possible. They evolve and the strains that survive are the ones who do not kill their hosts. Basically the severe strains who kill hosts disappear, and the silent ones keep on living in their hosts and spreading around.

So we might be basically left with a less dangerous strain if this coronavirus in the end.

The virus itself, like all viruses is here to stay. The hope is that we’ll be left with a non-lethal version of it (for 99.9% of the people) when all is said and done.

I think that things are far from being as bad as the media made them out to be.

The deadly effect of the Spanish flu when it came back in the second wave is what is scaring the BeeJesus out of if the medical establishment. They are worried that it will happen again. That flu was well documented.

I don’t believe they’re as bad either. But if one of you’re loved ones died from it, you’d be singing a different tune.
                      That goes for everyone.

The summer theory is majorly flawed though. Hot climate areas have already been plagued by the corona virus already as well, so it doesn’t seem to stop spreading due to heat. Even if slightly reduced, the increase in socializing will bring the numbers back up again.
