... DAZN has yet to stage their first big fight, in Canelo-Jacobs, yet they've already pushed the price point up to $20 a month, lol.

It's really not that deep, tbh; Arum knows his entire effort for share on ESPN is ****ed if he can't deliver fights worth watching and Wilder locking in with DAZN would've all the way ****ed him with ESPN shifting their entire combat sports focus to developing UFC.

Now, he still thinks he has a chance; we'll see how much of a chance really, but it's not looking good.

Bob Arum sat Mikey Garcia on the shelf at home for almost two years on a single remaining fight because Mikey wanted to renegotiate a new deal instead of just extending the old one.

Imagine what Arum would do with owed fights by Deontay Wilder, lol

Bob is a doozy. He seems afraid of the change in boxing viewership that DAZN is trying to push. He aligned with ESPN to keep the tried and tried to PPV model for his stable. Haymon, while an enemy, uses a traditional model of lower tower fights on television and premier fights on PPV. Bob wants enemies fighting him in the same manner he is used to. Never trust a word that comes from Bob's mouth.

This is when we know Joshua and Wilder won't "lose" until they fight each other. You are gonna have to knock one out cold to win.

That's if wilder stays winning shelly maybe you will offer more than 120million in 4 fights. So far you told wilder to turn down 15mill to fight AJ and fight fury for 3 LOL.

Wilder's mouth/style/knockouts will put asses in seats anywhere and on any platform.

Fury cannot be a star in the U.S market without Wilder's name attached to him, especially with no one to fight on ESPN. Fury can carry against bums in the U.K no problem though.
Yea Arum don't say anything that's not in his self interest even at expense of sport. With Fury now fighting Tom Schwarz his popularity will only go down matter a fact unless he is in with a big puncher like Wilder or AJ he will lose viewers with his ugly boxing style.I love tech boxing but his style is one step up from negative fighting an important step but still very ugly even though effective.

All of Haymon's top fighters think they are the next Mayweather as that is the excuse they use when turning down huge money from other promotions.

That should ring some bells in the heads of Haymon fighters when he tells each of them privately, "yeah you are the next Mayweather". Arum's fighters are realistic and Haymon's fighters are delusional. Mikey is a perfect example he had it very good with Arum, making good money being lined up to fight Paq and if he won he would become a star. But that was not good enough he left he is now in bed with Showtime and Haymon to some extent and now look at his career (after that disaster last Saturday).
Come on how do you know what's in the mind of every fighter? Erroll Spence is one of the most humble fighters out there. So is Mickey Garcia. Arum has very few fighter because he mismanaged them. Putting them in multiple I house fights that made arum money but did nothing for their careers. Plus arum as stealing too much. Pac was broke a d owed the Phillies gov 66 million even though arum was taking 30% of pacs earnings for "taxes," Mickey jumped ship because arum was taking too much money. Delahoya and Floyd walked for the same reason. It's no bad mark on Mickey that he lost to truth. He took a risk no other fighter was willing to do. I personally think arum is bad for fighters. Pac with haymon and Floyd will have good money to retire on Instead of being destitute.

A Wilder an fight will produce a ton of dough. The gate alone may bring in 20 million. The ppv and others will make this fight a mega success. 15 million for this is a slap in the face. To go get hit with concussive punches for the promoter to make 160 million while you make 15 million is criminal.

I agree about MOST of Haymons guys thinking they're the next Mayweather .
I recall an interview with Kid Chocolate where he says him vs GGG has to be built up . Literally said it could be like May vs Pac ?
Yeah . That worked out well for him.

I could care less about Arum. But, ODH and Floyd left because they could actually make more money because they were super stars, not because Arum was ripping them off. Mikey never accused Arum of stealing from him. If so the lawsuits he and Arum had going on such accusations of theft would of been points of contention in the suits, but the lawsuits say nothing of Mikey accusing Arum of stealing from him. You have 0 evidence Arum steals any money. He has never been sued like Don King who actually stole fighters money. Chavez realized how bad King was once he went with Arum and Arum paid him well thus making him realize how much of a thief King was. Again I don't like Arum for many reasons, but stealing fighters money is not one of them.

Pac's financial problems are much more complicated than just saying Arum ripped him off. He spends too much money, he gives away too much money, and he does not pay his taxes.

You complain about in house fights by Arum and I do not like promoters who just do in-house fights, but I do not suffer from promoter favoritism which is a new thing with current boxing fans. If you hate Arum in-house fights then you should hate PBS in-house fights because Haymon does exactly the same thing Top Rank does. If you care about fighters finances then you should be angry with Haymon who makes his fighters turn down huge money offers for his in-house bum of the month fights. You should be angry that Haymon who makes his fighters sign contracts that has Haymon control all their money. They cannot even buy a house without his say so.
