That's some impact Pep has embedded on that club if that's the case. Mindblowing even.
Can't wait for City continue to rack up record points totals every year from memory after Pep leaves.
Pep drills his teams hard, to where they play his style second nature. He's a great coach.
City play more direct because of the demand of the league. You have to play direct, so he's altered his style to reflect the league but retains the general philosophy of total football.

I am still absolutely disgusted by how Chelsea played against Citeh twice to the extent I dont give a s.hit about Conte but that doesnt distract that Conte thought it was acceptable to set up like such a pathetic little b.itch.
Chelsea aint exactly paupers. We can get mostly whoever we want

Originally posted by El Fenomeno View PostYou've changed tone since the start of the season when you were saying you'd give him full credit if he managed to win the league playing his style, which was deemed virtually impossible to do by most in here.
1 title and almost 100 (one hundred) points later and the goalposts have moved.
Winning the league is what matters and to be fair he did that.. but so did Mancini.. Pellegrini
I was impressed with him this season up until the CL quarters.. the only real time he has been challenged this season he failed.. Man City were awful vs Liverpool.. absolutely toothless
So what has he done that is so special? Won the league with loads of points? He failed in the champions league yet again like he did with Bayern
PL is really strong yet.. Chelsea and Lecister won it
And Man United who are god awful currently sit second comfortably
Spurs will never be legitimate challengers at this rate..
And as good as Liverpool play.. you dont win leagues with the old Kevin Keegan "they score 4 we score 5" tactics
The guy absolutely cracked under the pressure even getting sent off vs LiverpoolLast edited by MOTHERDUCKER; 05-03-2018, 11:20 AM.

If Chelsea appoint Sarri I’ll be annoyed. He has a preference for older, more experienced players and his literally never won a thing in his 18 year managerial career.
The football hipsters choice.
They’ll employ him and sack him when it turns out he can’t win anything. Even though he’s never won anything! He has No knowledge of English footy and I don’t think he can speak English so therefore can’t address the media or the fans.
I am willing to accept Marco Silva too as well as Brenda.
The Chelsea board know nothing about football.
Board consists of an Oligarch (who actually is likely to have the most football knowledge out them), a bunch of lawyers, a commercial director, and secretary who somehow runs the whole thing.
I’m sure it went like this...
Oh this guy seems popular?
Well, what’s he done?
Absolutely nothing basically. He’s tactically innovative.
Why’s he popular then?
Dunno. Smokes. He wears jeans.
Should we get him?
Erm, yeah?
More than anything Chelsea need a director of football or at least a fan of the sport.
I think we’ll drop out of the top 6 next seasonLast edited by Sparked_26; 05-04-2018, 04:59 AM.
