It means he can’t testify on his behalf in a murder trial, which increases the chances he will be found guilty, because he has no credibility.

You’re blatantly lying about the impact of the drugs and over exaggerating his struggling to breathe before the chokehold because you want to defend a white cop for killing a black man with a criminal record.

I am making a point that you can’t refute so you’re constantly dancing around it. You are the one grasping for anything.

He lied because he knew he was guilty. He knew the consequences of an honest report would likely mean him being fired for using an illegal chokehold.

That means no pension, no union backed and paid for lawyer at trial. Now he has to get a lawyer on his own dime or a Public Defender, both that would have far less resources than the AP, unless a firm took it pro bono. Again his lying makes taking him as a pro bono case a really bad PR move.

I can’t see a credible firm with the ability to defend him taking it pro bono. But I could be wrong.
