    Glad it happened. Barca is so reliant on Messi it's hilarious.

    Take Messi out of there and they would have finished 3rd at best.

    Their defence is shocking. They need to get 2-3 big signings in if they want to compete with PSG/Real etc. Im interested to see if Griezman will join though, been heavily linked for ages.

      I though they might get another to make it five all but didn't. Lost $50 bucks after earning $80 I only caught about the last 20 minutes of the game.

      Its just a one off thing. It happens. Don't think they need to make many changes. They won the double and finished above Real who were lucky to be in the CL final. They can still do well without Messi.

        They need 2-3 more signings, i'd say a CB and RB should be the focus. Their main squad looks solid but they don't have much depth.

        Real have been lucky but then again they've beaten PSG, Bayern, Juve over the course of two legs. Those are the French, German and Italian champions. They've been fortunate that Neymar got injured for PSG and Bayern had a number of injuries but they still forced the issue vs Bayern and make them work for EVERYTHING.

        Real looked better last season but they've showing an immense amount of grit and heart this season. Barca looked really poor vs a terrible Chelsea side a few months ago as well. Barca with Neymar would have wiped the floor with them.

          Griezmann will be a proper whore if he joins Barcelona. It's not as if Atletico are terrible. He's made over 100 appearances for them, won the league, made the CL finals.

          It's not even the same as going to United or to Bayern. At least then, it's a new challenge, a new league, new culture. Big clubs but there's a new level of challenge to take on.

          Joining Barcelona is just wanting to win easier. There isn't a new challenge. Same league, better team. Proper whore for that.

            I actually wouldn't be opposed to that.

            If Chelsea were to sell Hazard but build an actual team with an identity. I'd be okay with it.

            Big Nose -> Madrid (either one)
            Hazard -> Madrid (white)
            Willian -> United
            Alonso -> Barcelona
            Bakayoko -> Monaco
            Morata -> Juventus

            Those are just the ones rumored away. Personally, i'd sell Pedro, Moses, and Cesc too. If not, bite the bullet and pay the release fee on each. We'll be absolute shyte for 2-3 seasons but it's better than this lot getting blown out 3-0, 4-1, 3-0 to no side above 10th place while getting paid 100+ thousand a week to do so.

            Tammy, Baker, Van Ginkel, Zouma, etc. etc. etc. can at the very least do exactly what this current lot are doing but on Southampton wages.

              Bless Cesc. But if he’s still there next season I give up. Man hasn’t been able to run for 3 years

                  That Fulham-Derby County game was wild. Craven Cottage on the come up.

                    I like Fulham - glad they’re up.

                    They did invade the pitch after winning against Chelsea once. The Pinot Noir must have gone to their heads

                      Steve Bruce begs to differ.
